An amazing story with fantastic mystery throughout, and let's not forget the spicy bits! I couldn't put it down, and CANNOT WAIT for the rest of the series. Wow... I picked this book up thinking I would be in for a simple erotic treat, but I got so much more than I was asking for! I am in love with these characters. Each individual and partnered life story is intriguing yet toe curling. Allen Abel has me chomping at the bit, waiting for more details about side characters I am already heavily enamored with. This fantasy plot is the perfect blend of depth, hard edges, and soft curves (wink wink). I am already prepped for a re-read to soak up any details I could have missed the first time around! I am not usually the biggest fan of 3rd person writing, but the way Allen Abel Lamarck masters his own writing style is something I have cherished through this novel. The enhanced descriptions of every nook and cranny that the reader could think of truly brings this story off of the pages and directly into one's wildest imagination. The book had me on my edge the entire read in both good and bad. I can't wait to read the devilish mindset that is in stored for book 2.
